A Word

From one of our students

” A year ago, I did not know where to go to with my daughter, Tamron. She has a hearing problem and had been in a public school for most of her life. The pressure just got too much for her there. That’s when I started looking for other options and Brainline crossed my path. I regret not putting her on this awesome road earlier.

My daughter was under a lot of pressure in school, where she had to work so much harder than the other kids. With Brainline, she works at her own pace and is just loving school. Thank you to everyone at Brainline for your support and caring for our children, my child will definitely finish her Matric with Brainline.”

Brainline enables the disabled

Don’t allow a disability to keep you from seizing the ultimate opportunity for a bright future.

Visually impaired learners

Imagine how the combination of cutting-edge technology and Brainline’s leading online assessment and curriculum can open a whole new world for visually impaired learners.

How we can help

In South Africa, most parents are bound to send their visually impaired child to a specific school and boarding school, which is often located far from home. Through this, these children are missing out on the wonders of true family life, while parent-child relationships get broken.

But what if….

  • you could have access to the resources,
  • which would enable you to be close for your child,
  • working together towards a life goal,
  • without feeling pushed away from society?

Brainline is embarking on an exciting new journey which will allow every parent or tutor of a precious child to guide them towards their National Senior Certificate — through the convenience of Distance Education.

By combining our passion for distance education with cutting-edge technology, we aim to give parents access to a curriculum and unrivalled assessment, to help their child achieve his or her authentic National Senior Certificate.

Learners with ADD, ADHD and Dyslexia

Poor concentration and distractibility can successfully be addressed and accommodated through distance education with Brainline.

How we accommodate these challenges:

Learners suffering from ADHD might not cope well in the normal schooling system, with symptoms such as poor concentration, irritability, easily distraction, hyperactivity and impulsivity. Distance education can help these learners to take control of their studies in an environment where they feel safe and comfortable.

Learners with dyslexia often face challenges which include problems with processing information with basic skills such as writing, spelling, speaking and the identification of mathematical problems.

Together with professional medical assistance, distance education enables the parent or caretaker to encourage and help the learner to manage and accomplish schoolwork successfully.

How Brainline accommodates these challenges:

  • Learning schedules can be adapted according to the learner’s needs
  • Distance education allows for one-on-one attention
  • Assessment schedules can be adapted
  • Application for accommodations for the final Grade 12 examination can be done, which includes additional time to complete examinations, a reader or scribe.

These accommodations can help the learner to successfully achieve his/her National Senior Certificate with self-confidence.
