Third parties

Brainline has elected to work with vetted and approved third parties that may act in the manner of controllers, sub-controllers and data processors for the purpose of supporting academic learning. One of the chosen data processors, ProctorFree Inc., will be employed and made available for the convenience of students to receive online invigilation (proctoring) services in an on-demand format as instructed by faculty and staff.

ProctorFree is a SOC 2 Type 1 compliant data processor with publicly available information in regard to the limited amount of information that is processed, and how to request the deletion of any information after the completion of an invigilated (proctored) exam. Information processed by ProctorFree is limited in scope, specific to fulfilling the responsibility of online invigilation (proctoring), the information is never sold or shared with 3rd parties, and can be deleted upon request. Students and Guardians wishing to opt-out of this service can contact their primary point of contact at the school to understand what other options may be available to them. ProctorFree can be contacted via email at info@proctorfree.com and ProctorFree’s privacy policy is available here: https://www.proctorfree.com/privacy-policy.
